Dear Families
Last weekend our church celebrated Pentecost, the time when God's Holy Spirit came to Jesus' apostles. At this time, we pray for God's Holy Spirit...
Pentcost Prayer
Loving God,
On this joyful day of Pentecost,
we thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit—
our Comforter, our Guide, and our Strength.
As the disciples gathered together in unity,
may we, as families of this school,
grow together in faith, hope, and love.
Come, Holy Spirit,
fill our hearts and our homes with Your peace.
Help our children to grow in wisdom,
kindness, and courage,
just as the early Church grew through Your power.
Bless our teachers and staff,
our parents and carers,
and all who nurture the minds and hearts
of these young ones.
May our words be gentle,
our actions loving,
and our hearts always open to You.
Like the flame that danced above the disciples,
light a fire in us to share Your love with joy.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
First Holy Communion
Recently a number of our students celebrated their First Holy Communion in our church. We congratulate Evie & Billy Deppeler, Reuben McCartin, Lachlan Asmussen, Lola Carpinteri, Isabella Mencev and Charlie Harte. Reuben's sister, Claudia, also celebrated her First Holy Communion with us.
Storytime is back!
We will be celebrating the roles of Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Baptism and Sacrament Teams, Parish Pastoral Workers, Parish Community Volunteers & Leaders of Parish Committees, and Liturgy leaders.
All are welcome to gather, to celebrate and thank all who play important roles in the life of our parish and parishes across the Diocese. At present we have about
25 coming to celebrate this Jubilee with us.
“In celebrating the Jubilee Year of Pilgrims of Hope, I pray that the Diocese of Sale will have encountered the Holy One who reveals his love.” Bishop Greg Bennet.
This is our new Pope. In the image, the pontiff appears smiling, dressed in the traditional white cassock and the gold pectoral cross he wore during his first greeting from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica after his election as the successor of Peter on May 8.
We pray for our new Pope and ask God to guide and bless him in his work.
Father's Group
May God continue to bless us and guide us in our learning.

School TV Physical Activity and Exercise
In this edition of SchoolTV - Physical Activity & Exercise
In the last decade, children’s participation in physical activity and exercise has been in decline. In this digital age, children are using computers and mobile devices, not only for learning, but for relaxation and recreation purposes. This sedentary lifestyle is having a detrimental effect on today’s youth. The key is finding the balance.
Research shows, that regular physical activity and exercise leads to changes in the brain. It improves cognitive function, elevates mood, enhances learning and improves academic outcomes. Playing sport helps kids develop fundamental movement skills impacting positively on their confidence, self-esteem and ability to develop social skills. Parents play an important role in helping children establish positive habits that will benefit their children in the long-term.
In this edition of SchoolTV, parents will discover practical advice relating to the benefits of regular physical activity and exercise, as well as tips on how to get their kids motivated and moving more.
We hope you take time to reflect on the information offered in this edition of SchoolTV and we always welcome your feedback. If you have any concerns about your child, please contact the school counsellor for further information or seek medical or professional help.
