Parents and Friends would like to welcome all new and returning families to school for 2025. We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic holiday break! We have hit the ground running and already planned several events and activities for term one!

We are running an Easter Raffle this term. We kindly ask all families to please donate an Easter themed item to go towards the prizes. A tub for donations can be found in the office. Your support is greatly appreciated!

The Easter Raffle will be drawn on the 4th of April at 12:45pm. Tickets are $2 each and will be sent home with students soon. Please write a name and phone number on each ticket before returning to school. We ask families to please pay for the tickets via CDF pay.

Wednesday the 19th of March is St Joseph’s Feast Day. Parents and Friends are offering students the opportunity to order a special lunch to compliment the day. We are offering:

Chicken schnitzel and salad wraps or ham and salad wraps for $5

Fruit salad and ice-cream for $3.50

Juice box for $1.50

Ordering will be via CDF pay. We hope to have it up on the system soon!

This year the uniform shop will operate on Mondays. Orders placed on CDF pay will be filled, packed and sent home with students each Monday.

Parents and Friends is a group of volunteer parents and carers of students at our school. We work closely with staff to organise and run events and activities throughout the year to benefit our community and raise money for improvements to the school. Our events and activities include raffles, Mother’s and Father’s Day Stalls, the disco, Comedy Night, special lunch days and more. Recently we have contributed to upgrading playground equipment and provided sensory equipment for the classrooms.

The roles of vice president, vice secretary and vice treasurer remain unfilled and we always welcome new general committee members. If you are interested in filling any of these roles, please feel free to have a chat with one of us, Janelle in the office or come along to our next meeting on Tuesday 11th of March at 8:45am at school.

Parents and Friends is a great way to get involved, meet new people and be a part of your child’s life at school. We always welcome new families.
