Principal's Message

Dear Families

We congratulate our Gr 6 graduating class:  Aylah Stokes, Collin Roff, Jack Varley, John Gramlick, Kaylem Horton, Lorelei Withers, Remy Schelfhout, Scarlett Murto, Summah McCutcheon and Tahlia Pedemont.  We thank you for your leadership and wish you all the best in your future.

We also farewell Mrs Raelee Hill our music teacher. Raelee is retiring from 43 years of service and we are privileged that she has spent her last 7 years of teaching with us at St Joseph's.

Raelee graduated from Coburg Teacher's College in 1981.  She has taught in Sydney, Melbourne, Moe, Warragul and Trafalgar.  Raelee also travelled to Hong Kong and taught there for two years.  Most recently Raelee has taught in Churchill and then with us in Trafalgar.  Raelee has taught all primary school levels and excels in visual arts and performing arts with choirs and productions.  We thank you Raelee for your work with us and wish you all the best in your retirement.

Don't worry Raelee has agreed to come back and help us with our concert next year in term two.

A Blessing Prayer for our Graduating Class and Mrs Raelee Hill

May the Lord bless you in the years ahead and inspire you to be positive in your attitude, faithfulness in loving and generous in the service of others.

May you learn from the difficulties that you will face, and so grow in wisdom and understanding and in compassion for others.

May you be patient and forgiving in your relationships.

May you live in such a way that words like "thanks" and "sorry" come readily to you.

May you retain a sense of wonder and awe, and may you grow as the person God called you to be.  Amen.

A Christmas Prayer

Let us rejoice for the birth of Jesus!

The angel sang, "Glory to God in the highest heaven,

and on earth peace among those whom he favours!"

God, we give thanks for the gift of your son,

To be our saviour and king.

May the joy of the angels,

the wonder of the shepherds,

and the peace of Jesus Christ,

fill our hearts this Christmas time.

We celebrate as we sing your praises, Lord.  Amen.

School Fees
Please remember to finalize your 2024 school fees before Christmas.  We are a 'not for profit' organisation and we charge school fees because we don't get as much Government funding as Government Schools do and we need this money to run valuable programs to give your child the best educational opportunities.  So please make sure your 2024 school fees are paid. Thank you!
Wishing everyone a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a safe holiday time.
Merry Christmas
