Principal's Message
Dear Families
It's been a productive and long term. We have just finished up our Interest Based Learning (IBL) program for term 2. The activities being offered included: cooking, lego construction, digital technology, geography, art, sport and visiting the kinder. I went with the group who visited the kinder and it was very enjoyable. Our senior students were confident working with the young kinder students. The kinder staff were very impressed with our students and presented us with a thankyou poster at our last session.
Here are some photos from our Interest Based Learning Program...

Bake Sale
Last week our Mini Vinnies team organised an incredible Bake Sale. The amount of baking that came into school on Monday was amazing. Thank you so much to the families who supported this Sale. I think the support we received for the Bake Sale is indicative of the positive vibrant parent community we have at school. Arrigato! The students raised over $800 from the Bake Sale. The Mini Vinnies team who organised the Bake Sale are pictured here:

Life Education Lessons
Recently we had Stef and Healthy Harold visit our school. Stef did a great health lesson for each class and we had Healthy Harold junior and Healthy Harold senior visit us. The children thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and the special visit from Harold. Thanks Stef for your work at our school. This visit was covered by the Excursion levy that families pay at the beginning of the school year.

Casual Clothes Day
Our Mini Vinnies team are running a Casual Clothes day this Friday 21st June. For the privilege of wearing casual clothes each student is encouraged to bring a gold coin donation that is collected by the Mini Vinnies team. This money then goes to our Parish St Vincent de Paul group who put it to the National Winter Appeal, then this money is used to help less fortunate families.
May God continue to bless and guide us in our learning.
Happy holidays everyone.
