Dear Families

I hope you are all coping well with our extended lockdown.  I certainly understand the frustration and worry with the lockdown. I do also see the importance of teaching our children about resilience.  Every day (especially in this lockdown) we are showing our kids how to cope and react when things get hard.  I say this not to put pressure on us, but to remind us that there are two ways of responding to everything. You can go down the negative track (it’s not fair; I can’t do this; I’m missing out on this…) or you can challenge yourself to be positive (I can’t change it, I can make the best of this, I can help others by…). I’m not saying it is easy but my prayer for all of us is, that we try and make the best of this situation and that we can help and support each other where we can.  Stay safe and strong!
